Sin City

The movie "Sin City" is one of my favorites. I love how it is black and white with hints of color. The PhotoForge2 app has a Sin City filter which I thought was appropriate for my images from the class shoot on the Strip. I think it emphasizes the grit. We were supposed to have a story, so I guess this is the story of my shoot. I started at Pink's and ended up at the stop light by the bus.

Technical info. I used shot these with the iphone camera with an ipro fisheye lens. I used ACDSee Camera Flash to add a little light. In PhotoForge2 I upped the vibrance and used the Sin City filter. I could have used other apps to lighten the photos but I started the first one with that and wanted to process them all the same way.

The Strip through the eye of a fish.

Last night was the first shoot for the smart phone class. It was awesome! I had so much fun! Shot with my new ipro fisheye lens. Love it! I'm looking forward to shooting with the telephoto and wide angle lenses.

Playing with fliters and apps

I'm taking a smart phone class this semester. I am looking forward to going out and shooting and playing with all the fun apps. I am very fond of Hipstamatic but there are a lot of other apps and filters to use instead or use with my Hipstamatic shots. Here are a few of my Hipstamatic shots that I've used the PhotoForge2 app on.
