Food and Drink

This is my final project for Prime Doc. It looks like I was hungry and thirsty while I was shooting this semester, but what actually attracted me to these scenes is the light and the activity of the people.

Laaadies!

I don't think I've laughed as much on shoot as I did this last week. Too much fun. This photo pretty much sums it up.

  Look, there's Heather! She shot with us this week. Well, I kind of shanghaied her actually. We had a great time. Some day I am going to get a shot of that blue condo building exactly how I want it. This one is closer but not quite there. And I want to pose someone in that lounge chair by the pool. All in all an excellent day of shooting and hanging out.

Tourist season

 Shooting tourists on the Strip with the beautiful Sarah this week. Not my normal subject but lots of fun. I kind of like being a photography sniper.

In Henderson, Of Course!

 Shot in Henderson last week. Check out Water Street some time. There is a little farmer's market with fresh produce (and carmel corn). Amazing pastries at Chef Flemming's Bake shop. Lots of mom and pops shops in and around the area like this used book store.

City Center

Great time with Sarah at City Center today. Well, technically yesterday since I'm writing this at 1:35 am. I actually had too many photos that I liked this week. I had a hard time picking ten for class. I think the Cosmopolitan is my favorite hotel in Vegas. It is beautiful, has a great vibe, and the people are nice. I want to go back and sit in one the cool bars and drink martinis.

I obviously suck at blogging

I'm blogging, I must be in one of Heather's doc classes. I loved shooting with Prime Doc on Thursday. Shooting on Freemont Street is always an adventure. I seemed to take a lot of portraits of non-people; masks, wooden Indians, pigeons. All my people shots are from far away. Introvert power FTW!
